Not bad...
Not really a "versus" battle, though - it's more of a (nearly) flawless integration of Sonic and Gorillaz in a music video. Personally, I would never think to combine the two, but to each its own...
The artwork is decent; I can distinguish all the characters, which is more important than many people may realize. My only complaint is that the animation seemed a bit cluttered - I couldn't really follow the storyline.
Overall, nice attempt :)

...and for the record, yeah, it IS hard to top an unexpected hit like "Numa Numa", but I think "New Numa" came pretty darn close. This animated version feels cheaper than the actual sequel....
That being said, the floating head effect was pretty awesome. But the flash would probably have been a whole lot better if you tried something a little more creative with the song, like you did with your first parody...
Now I'm depressed.

OH DEAR GOD...
I'm sorry, but that has got to be THE worst example of voice acting that I have ever I had the misfortune of experiencing. Link was the only passable character, but Kirby was ALL WRONG, that Gobbin guy was barely audible, and Mario - whoo, boy - don't get me started on Mario....
I hope to God you intentionally made the voices so terrible, because that's what I'm going to assume and just rate you high on humour, since it WAS a funny-kinda-bad.
The pacing needs work; too slow in some parts. I laughed when Mario tried to fight the Gobbin.
Overall, if you do decide to finish this, I think it's worth checking out for. I'm interested in seeing how you improve (and how this movie turns out).

I swear to God...I thought this was just a pipe dream by an ambitious noob fan...but you ACTUALLY went ahead and made this!!! (I remember seeing the animatic for this short, and even auditioning for Gir...or at least making a sound clip...I can't remember if I had even sent it in - oh well, my loss)
I had to download the episodes to see it for myself, as Canada doesn't show it on any of its stations. I must say though, that this was an AWESOME attempt to capture the essence of a series shot down WAY before its prime. Lots of effort, lots of time and patience and dedication is dripping off of this! THIS is how you make a fanmade tribute!
And seeing this instills my faith that maybe someone will someday try the same thing with fellow Nicktoon "Hey Arnold!"...
You rock! You have to make more, for the good of the fans (cuz I'm pretty sure Johnen's content with its brief, twisted run on Nickelodeon)!!!
